Shuna Succulent House

It all started with a small patio at our condo…and way too many plants.

Like many plant lovers, Shuna never planned on starting a business. She simply loved collecting succulents and cacti until there was barely any room left. Her solution? Sell a few plants to make space and use the money to buy more.

The photo here is from her very first time selling plants at a swap meet in Ontario, California. She didn’t sell much that day, but she loved meeting other plant lovers, sharing what she had grown, and seeing someone take home a plant she had cared for herself.

That small swap meet planted the seed for something bigger. What began on a crowded condo patio slowly grew through years of learning, hard work, and a whole lot more plants.

Nearly 20 years later, Shuna now has a store of her own. We are still a women-owned, family-run small business and, at heart, we are still plant lovers first.

We still get excited about new growth, unusual cacti, and bringing home plants even when we probably don’t have room for them. Most of all, we love sharing that joy with other plant lovers.
